Yes, you will need insurance on your mobile or manufactured home if you have a loan on the home. If you don't have a loan, it is highly recommended that you carry insurance on your home to protect the equity you have in your home. You don't want something to happen to your home like a tree branch in a windy storm to fall on your home to make your home uninhabitable. You want to have insurance that will cover that damage.
